# Harvard Business Review, Build High-Performing Teams
**Specialization Certificate (IN-PROGRESS) | [Training website](https://www.coursera.org/specializations/build-high-performing-teams)**
Following my learning experience with [[Google People Management Essentials]], I decided to dive deeper into people leadership through further study. While the Google courses provided valuable insight, I know from experience that additional study, deeper content, and thought exercises will help me reach where I want to be.
As I previously wrote, people management was one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of my career. Upon reflection during the Google training, I realized I did many things right, but also made mistakes. As I think about future possibilities, I want to make improvements for myself, and especially for others. There are a couple of managers from my career that frequently come to mind and I aspire to emulate.
To that end, I chose this leadership training from Harvard Business Review (HBR) because HBR is an authority in business management and the content aligns closely with my objectives. These are: elevating my skills in coaching and framing the right questions, developing strategies to motivate different personalities, measuring and reporting performance, and shifting elements of culture to enable continuous growth.
